Meals Made Easy: Garlic Ginger Beef Steak Kit

That's an stewing beef and egg noodles question to answer even if all you've ever done is make chicken stew with your slow cooker. It's just so dang simple and the food tastes better when cooked slowly and evenly in a crock pot.

Why that's advisable: Variety is important because it prevents boredom, which is a cause for giving up on dieting. Nobody wants to eat grilled chicken with steamed vegetables every meal, and if you try to force yourself to comply, you'll end up eating a slow cooker braised steak and onions before the end of the week.

Brown your stewing steak and then transfer to crock pot after draining. Cook onions in skillet, cooking until soft; add garlic, cinnamon and allspice and cook for 1 minute. Next, add vinegar, tomato sauce, sugar and bay leaf and stir well. Pour mixture over meat. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Add feta cheese, cover and cook on High for 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve over hot pasta.

The slow cooker is your friend. Share favorite crock pot recipes with your friends. The best recipes are those, such as roast beef and potatoes and veggies, where there is no cooking before or after. In the morning, you toss in all the ingredients. In the evening, you come home, open the slow cooker and eat up. These are the only slow cooker braising steak I ever really make, to be honest.

When you get home fish out the cloves and peppercorns, set aside half of everything for later in the week, make yourself a plate of food, add a little mustard on the side if you like and enjoy! It's so tender you don't have to worry about the traditional cut-thin-slices-against-the-grain rule.

If you just want to do something braised meat cookbook little different-then just do it. Nothing is stopping you but your own brain. It is telling you that you absolutely need instructions on how to do something that for years was improvised. Our grandparents certainly didn't use a recipe, and if they didn't, it wasn't nearly as exact as ours.
